This seemed like a simple question that someone has definitely asked before but I can't seem to find the answer to - I apologize if this is a common question.
When creating the corridor model - as I drop template through different interval of station, why do I end up with different shape sizes? I don't recall any of the prompt to cause the template to act differently. See attached image (white is the border of the template).
Thanks,
Dick
Dick,
Before you add any template drops your corridor is at a consistent shape defined by the length of the geometry, but as soon as you add a Template drop your corridor shape is defined by the catch points of the template and the active terrain and the length of each template drop. A smaller interval creates more catch points and will produce a more irregular shape. If there is no active terrain the shape remains consistent. I hope this answered your question.

The image needs some explanation - Is there only one corridor? What are the magenta lines?
Thanks for the response. The length of my template drop is fairly consistent and my active terrain is equally (roughly) wide on both the north side and south side so I'm stumped at what prompted the template to produce the two different shape.
Yes there is only one corridor. The magenta lines are the clear zone feature line so it's probably unrelated.
Have you looked at the Cross- Sections to verify that the template is catching at all locations
