This seemed like a simple question that someone has definitely asked before but I can't seem to find the answer to - I apologize if this is a common question.
When creating the corridor model - as I drop template through different interval of station, why do I end up with different shape sizes? I don't recall any of the prompt to cause the template to act differently. See attached image (white is the border of the template).
Thanks,
Dick
I don't exactly follow what you mean. I check through the cross sections and they all appear to be tying into the terrain normally?
On the Template drop showing in the upper half of the screen shot, there does not appear to have any toe of fill or top of cut features so it looks like the end conditions of that template are failing. The Corridor boundary should follow those features. It appear more like a corridor with no template drops in it. except for the clear zone and centerline features indicate that a template drop exists. what does the 3D model look like?

Hi Dick: I assume that the template drop which is bugging you is the one which is still very large and still shaped parallel to the centerline. This occurs when the template drop extends beyond the limits of the active profile. This is an oddity but harmless. It is actually somewhat useful because picking the template drop is much easier when it is not exactly on top of the corridor.

I had most of the levels turned off but the template is connecting. The 3D model looks fine
I checked my active profile and my template drop is within the limit - I agree that it's not really an issue but it's really bugging me that it behaves so randomly! Thanks for responding though!
