ORD 2019 R2 U7 - Is there a way to convert 'dumb' lines drawn with the drawing commands to Linear Geometry elements with assigned Feature Definitions without having to redo all the work using the geometry commands?

The 'Create Civil Rule Feature' may be what you want. (You may have to re-assign feature definition later if you want a 'Alignment' feature - it only allows Linear at the start, it seems).
