Is there a way to take 3D microstation InRoads elements and add feature definitions to the elements without creating profiles. I am trying to create a terrain model
using existing 3D line work and making it intelligent, so that if I have to modify any of the lines in elevation or direction the terrain will update.
You do not need to add feature definitions to the line work. Use a Graphic Filter to create the terrain. If the original elements are amended, you can use 'update from source' option to refresh the terrain.
