I am using Power InRoads V8i SS4 and have created about 200 cross sections that populated in a temp view group. I used the Sheet preference when creating them. I am at my wits end trying to figure out how to get them all to print to individual pages in one pdf. I have tried using Print Organizer using the print style by defining from shape and defining by cell. All I get is the first XS sheet. Can someone please help me figure out what I am doing wrong? Or is this simple task not available in SS4??
Thank you, Cheri
There is a pair of buttons in Print Organizer, in the define by Shape dialog:
Create one print definition from first matching shape
OR
Create one print definition for each matching shape
You want to check ON "...each matching shape"
Also, make sure that your "Print Area" on the Main tab is set to "Fence"

I did have that button checked. I just drew a rectangle around the border. The only way to pick the shape that I can see is by level which I have my shape on a level named "shape." I even have it on a certain color and enter that as well. I know I am missing something. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this. I don't want to have to print 200 separate pdfs and combine them
There's also a picklist on the print definition tab...I believe the option you want is "All Models".That's another setting that catches me up sometimes.
Yep, had that checked too...
Are you only getting the first sheet recognized by Print Organizer when creating a PSET?
Or is it only PRINTING the first sheet? If the problem isn't generating the PSET, but printing, double check that your "Print Range" is set to All (not Selection) and that "Submit as" is set to Single Print Job. I've chased that around the bushes more time than I care to admit...
