Hi everyone, I'm looking for a well-explained lecture (video better than paper) about the workflow for creating new nodes and pipes, conduits, ducts, inlets,.... for modeling in the SU workflow delivered in OPENROADS and OPENRAIL.
I need to understand the whole workflow since creating the top and bottom cells and their linking points to create the prototypes through the element templates, feature definitions and so on.....
Thanks a lot.
Hi Manuel,
OpenRoads Designer - Subsurface Utilities (Drainage & Utilities) Learning Path (below) would be a great place to start. More especially, QuickStart - Laying out a Drainage Network in OpenRoads Designer

Hope this helps.

Hi Sanders, thanks for spending time for answering, but I have no problems with placement nodes, Pipes or another subsurface features for modeling. Í need to learn the procedure to build new node types for chambers, manholes, inlets and so on, behind the delivered in ORD workspaces
Manuel:
What I did to build our structures was merely to pattern what Bentley did. I looked at the construction class elements for the headwalls, manholes, and inlets- and the actual objects themselves- and merely followed what Bentley did in the construction of theirs. Be aware- as I am sure that you are- that the product will see solids and will "slice" them where appropriate. At first I was a bit apprehensive to work with the multitude of 3D tools within ORD/ MicroStation, but once you create a few objects on your own the overall process actually becomes quite entertaining... I suppose that I am somewhat of a geek that way...
It all worked out well for me.
