Every time I add a clip reference the corridor seems to crash into itself.
What version of ORD are you using? I am not sure I understand what you mean by crash into itself.

I am on ORD Connect Release 2 - 2019
The picture below is the corridor without the clip reference. You can see the different in the mesh lines from the one I posted previously. The one I posted previously zigzags.
This causes problems when trying to pick up and define corridor references.
