Is it possible to close a document in ProjectWise Explorer without checking it in? Been looking for a setting somewhere which relates to this, but with no luck.
Thanks!
I have just closed out of the program. Don't launch with PE, just open with application. The PE Admin may have a setting to automatically check in, in which case you probably can't override.
If you close a document in it's program ie: file close. Yo can select cancel in the PW check in box and it will closenot check it in but the file will remain read only until YOU check it in from the same computer. If you do not want to update PW file copy select the free button. If you want to update the file copy but keep it locked use update the server copy button then hit cancel.

I should have replied to this a long time ago! Thanks to you both. I went a different route and changed the double-click action to open files as read-only. That way I only have to deal with that window if I edit something.
