I am really hoping that I am explaining this correctly. We have an engineer who is using a reference file and will Copy\Parallel. When they attempt to delete a copy, then GeoPak will crash and give what appears a standard exception screen. She has created the reference file from scratch and it continuously happens. Once the file crashes, it can no longer be opened by anyone. She has no issues with other reference files, just this one. Hopefully someone has seen this before and can give some insight.
I'm having the same issue, only it starts with deleting a copy/parallel. Then when I try to open it again, or restore the file to a previous version, it keeps crashing.
It's just a geopak crash because it's powergeopak. I'd go look at the Microstation forums myself. The only other thing I would suspect is that the file they are referencing and copying from is corrupted and I would reference into a clean seed, merge into master and then use that file going forward.
It's a microstation element from a microstation reference and you are using a microstation copy/parallel command. It's a microstation issue. Delete the Microstation user preferences.
Ok, deleted her user profile in GeoPak, had her retry and it crashed before she had a chance to delete the files. From the user:
I would delete her user preferences first. Is it an ACAD reference?
