Hi,
I'm looking for make an hole Inside an existing surface. What's the most simply thing or command to do this with power Inroads?
Thank's a lot.
Johanne:
You will need to create a closed shape of the area in question, and then use the command File>Import>Surface and import the shape as an Interior Boundary. Re-triangulate the surface, and it should now show the "hole" (Interior Boundary) as defined by the shape.

An interior boundary must include proper elevations. I would recommend draping it on the surface before adding it as an interior boundary. Or add it to the surface as set to Exclude from Triangulation, Assign it elevations from the surface and then change it to an Interior Boundary and turn off Exclude from Triangulation.

I have never had to drape an interior boundary, Chuck. I have always just made the shape and then imported it as an interior... your comment does interest me, however, as to what our differences here may entail.
