Are you using the XIN migration tool? (It uses a spreadsheet and converts your XIN into 3 different XML files used to import into ORD.

Dear Jerry,
thank you for your help but my problem is to convert xin file of SS2 to openroad designer 2019. I use power inroads SS4 to open and convert xin file. after that i used migration tool but i think, no name matchs at FD, FS, ET and nothing imported to xml file. all names is included in missing report. actually, i am trying to update my company from SS2 to openroads designer, is it a good idea?
Did you watch the video? In the delivered Workspace they used to deliver Migration tools but now they are a download from a Wiki.
Originally, there was an Element Template Utility that could write Element Templates from an XIN but since more granularity was needed, there is an XIN Extractor that relies on a spreadsheet to map XIN to XML file for Element Templates, Feature Definitions and Feature Symbologies. This video explain that process - focussing on Survey only.
