One of our CADD Techs is having an issue importing an excel sheet into Microstation PowerGEOPAK. Once he selects the excel file, we get the error "Could not load file or assembly "Microsoft.Office.Interlop.Excel, Version=12.0.0.0....". We are using Office365 desktop and excel is installed.
This function works properly on different machines in the same project. They are using the same version of Office and PowerGEOPAK. A snip of the error is attached.
I was able to find a forum post about this issue, but it was dealing with Office 2007. The resolution was not posted. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Is the tool you show on the left of the screen capture a custom application from FDOT?

Yes, this tool is specific to FDOT.
The link you provided leads me to the post I referenced above. It has the same error but does not have a fix listed publicly.
I would reach out to FDOT Cadd support and maybe they have seen this before or better yet they may be able to put you in touch with the developer of the app.
Steve did you ever find a solution for this? I am having the exact same issue, any help would be appreciated!
