In Cross sections I try to measure the distanse between two points from a Template (by point name). Is this possible?
Measuring components did work. In our projects however we only also have curbs and gutters. The distance of them should in some cases be added.

Hi, Did you find a solution?
My points are not even from the template, these are CLs of different corridors merging at some point. I need to annotate distance between centerlines from different corridors exhibited on a cross-section. A bitt different task than the one you had as my point do nto belong to a template.
Any hints?
Also I am using ORD 2021 R1, looks filters for annotating cross-sections are not working correctly...
What if you made some null points with a special dummy component between them that was on a non plotting level, and then used point controls to align them with the alignment centerlines?
If they were initially coincidental and a display rule prevents the component from being drawn if the points stay put, the only time they would be drawn is when the display rule permits them. Your display rule might even require that both points must be moved from their original position before the component gets drawn.
Then you could measure the distance between them whenever they appear and all other times they would not.

In my case I have multiple corridors from multiple dgn files exhibited on normal section. It will not be an easy task to create dummy component to show dimm lines :(
