Hi,
I am modelling some cable barriers in ORD and want these to be shown in Navisworks for coordination purposes. My current process involves using the cable barrier feature definition which gives me a nice 3D view of the barriers in ORD. Is there anyway to export/convert these feature definitions to 3D objects for use in Navisworks?
Many Thanks
You need to drop your linestyle. You can't do it in Openroads (you probably will be able to do it in the next update) you can do it in Microstation update 13. You use your key-in: drop linestyle.
Your line will then drop to the native element it was made of, line, solids or mesh. Then you can view it in other programs.
Thanks for that, I can now view the element in Navisworks however, when I open the file in MicroStation to drop the linestyle the line appears to have lost all of its elevation values. Am I missing something here?
Cheers
Hi Joe,
I am wondering what file format you've coordinated in Navisworks? Does it include the metadata/attributes from ORD?
Thanks in advance.
