Hopefully someone can help me figure this out. I am attempting to attach georeferenced aerial images (jp2 files) through OpenRoads. The images have a different coordinate system than the drawing file. OpenRoads does not give me the option to change the 'Inherit GeoCS from Model' to Not Inherited, so that the images show up in the correct place with the correct scale. I have tried changing the default attributes, but it still is not attaching them correctly.
I can attach them in InRoads Select Series 4 just fine and then open them up in OpenRoads, but I don't necessarily want to rely on using older programs. I have checked the preferences for both programs and they are identical.
Any ideas as to why this is happening? Is OpenRoads not picking up the georeference from the file?
Same question at Brittany, why is the "not ihherit" an option on bringiing in a raster????
What's the answer?
It maybe depend on the header of raster file.
With this header file inside the jp2 file (as example)
In attaching the raster file, an option: "Inherit GeoCS from Model" will be showed.
However, with the jp2 file, the header without SRS defined.
In attaching the raster file, NO option for the "Inherit GeoCS from Model"
