Named Boundaries process goes OK, although this is a massively frustrating tool in the way that it restricts inputs to the dialog.
Then comes to generate drawings.
I have found another workaround which has better effect, although a little more work.

Double click the reference file to open settings

Change the clip option (bottom right) from Volume Only to None

In ref manager click on the Orientation column and choose the appropriate saved view.

This better because it also patches up the sheet model as well as the drawing model.

RE: ORD Create P-P sheets - Plan Portion is blank

Robert, I have co-workers that seem to have this problem all the time as well and found the exact same workaround of detaching the reference and undoing to make it visible.

I do not know what causes it or a proper fix, but I can at least confirm similar behavior.

RE: ORD Create P-P sheets - Plan Portion is blank

Robert:

I have created plan sheets, profile sheets, double plan sheets, double profile sheets, plan and profile sheets, and cross section sheets for our firm. While I agree that the interfacing is a bit cumbersome, never have I had the issue of a "blank" drawing model. If I had run into this situation during development I would have noted it and how it was fixed. Sadly, I have no notes on the issue which you have mentioned, and I am quite unsure as to what might be the matter. All attached references in my world here show up just fine, and the sheet creation process lives up to (most) expectations.

If I think of any reasons for your issues, I will certainly come back here and try to help.

What version of ORD are you using?
