Is there a way I can cut a cross section of a terrain?

You will need to place an arbitrary alignment, along which you need to see the cross section of the terrain. Then go to "Corridors tab" > Dynamic Sections > Open Cross section view". You can provide the left & right offset to include the terrain limits. Attached is a screen shot for your reference. Hope this helps. Do let me know.
