Hi all,
I'm currently using the Label Terrain Contours tool in ORD to get "text" contour labels that export to DWG. This is very very labour intensive for very large survey terrains and jobs that span kilometres.
Does anyone know of any tools that can label these automatically? I don't suppose there is anything coming in ORD in the near future?
Regards,
Mark
Hi Mark
Did you find any solution to export Contour Text labels to DWG from ORD. Still I am using MX Road to export Contour Data to DWG.
Regards
Babulal
Hi Babulal,
Nothing yet, but i believe the Civil Tool Contours labelling tools are on their way back in hopefully soon:
Civil Tools in MicroStation CONNECT Edition - MicroStation Forum - MicroStation - Bentley Communities
When that happens you should be able to drop your terrain contour lines and label as normal Text that can be exported, etc.

Hi Mark, Thanks for your msg.
Hi,
I've set up an annotation group to mimic default contour annotations.
This way you get labels that will survive the DWG export.
I have written a Wiki initially for French group,
https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design_-_wiki_fr/62036/annotation-des-cotes-des-courbes-de-niveau-en-dur-pour-export-hors-univers-bentley
Hope automatic translation will be enough, if you feel a EN version can be useful, I'll add it.

Awesome - thanks Vincent!
Can I get an English version as one of our clients wants to superimpose pavement contour to Plan Profile drainage but cannot save it in DWG format?
Urgent. Thank you.
