Hello Community,
we are modelling a corridor in Open Rail Designer,
part of the corridor is a concrete slab which is the base layer of this corridor.
There are to be vertical joints seperating the concrete slab into pieces of approx. 10-12 m length (depending on external factors).
I am trying to find a hint whats the best way to implement these joints. I know the stations of the joints btw (Stations of joints are in an excel list).
Thanks in advance and Kind regards
Patrick
You want them in 3D? What do you mean by implement them?
yes in 3D.
I will try to be more clear:
I want to model a long concrete slab that follows an alignment and the slab is interrupted by lateral gaps every 10-12 m, Stations of these gaps/joints are available as excel list.
1) Is it better to create a seperate template drop between every gap?
2) Is it better to create one long template drop and use other corridor objects like Point Control to model the gaps?
