Is there a way to find surface areas of fill at specific elevations using the 3d model? For instance, we are designing a service road that will have 15-25 foot of fill and we need to use a chemical compound to make the compaction quicker. They are going to lay down a one foot lift of dirt, then spray on the chemical. We need to give them the areas of all those 1 foot lifts. I was curious if geopak lets you take horizontal slices or something similar. Any help on this would be great!
Thanks in advance!

I presume in GEOPAK that if you have the model, you have or can create a terrain. GEOPAK will visualize the contours as MicroStation elements, the contours would be the area at each foot elevation.

Steven,
Yes, that would show the locations of each elevation, but is there a way to calculate the entire surface area of fill at the elevation, ie 621, 622, 623, etc.?
oh, i think I see where you are taking this. Visualize the contours, then I can fill between the contours to get the areas. I will try that. Thanks!
