Hi, is it possible to import LandXML files in a fieldbook ?
Then how ?
What type of data do you plan on migrating? Points, chains, DTM?
Points and lines. The points have a code to say whether they belong to a line or not, and to give their function in the line (beginning of line, intermediate point, beginning of curve, end of curve, end of line, ...). Some points are also used to calculate the polygonal. In general, the first point of the line also gives a line code to associate a line style.
Yes you can import that type of data into a survey field book. Drag the XML file over and evaluate the results. Then we can deal with more specific questions or issues.

Here is an example of a field book that we use
Open your XML file and look at it. You have observation data in it. I have experimented unsuccessfully with observation data in XML format, with no success. Here is another surveyor with similar issues here:

You'll most likely need to import final coordinates and line coding commands. Have Leica export points only. You should be good to go after that.
