Is it possible to define a curve by length instead of radius in order to match existing plans and the correct curve PI?

You could work out the radius by the curve's degree of curvature - some manual wok, but it should get you what you need.

In InRoads you could simply use the curve calculator. With OpenRoads you'll have to embrace the 70s revival: pull out your calculator (or slide rule). R=(180L)/(Δπ)
We found that there is no "native" way to do this.
This is just another reason I hate this program.
