Hi,
recently I built model of utilities from xls and program used some default node cell, which I would like to recreate (see the picture below). However I have some problems with creating such cell. The node should automatically recognize both conduits and rotate accordingly. I made a few nodes so far but I cannot find a way for this one. I also cannot find this cell in Bentley's .cell file in standards. Can someone help?
What you are referring to is not a cell and cannot be created like a cell. It is a hard-coded connection bend created from the Extract From Graphics function and can be edited through the Properties.
Thank you for answer. I suspected it will be something more than easy-to-create cell:). However I am a bit suprised that it was created automatically from xls import. I haven't used Extract From Graphics function. May I ask how to change its dimensions?. Changing values in Properties seems not to work unfortunately.
You can edit the dimensions by selecting the connector and going to the Properties. From there go to Uitlity > Utility Properties, and click on the ellipses. A separate Properties window will open and from there you can edit the dimensions and other items.
Can you confirm that changing lenght and width in utility footprint tab (see the picture from my previous post) actually works? As I wrote earlier for me it has no effect.
I was wrong in the previous post. Because it is hard-coded, you cannot change its dimensions.
