I just started working in ORD but before that I was working on MicroStation v8i and Powergeopak. It used to have two workspaces: Design and Sheet in a single microstation file. However, in ORD, we can have only one based on our selection while creating the file. How do I put two details at different scale in a single sheet?

So, exactly what is your question?

I do plan developments in the bridge side and we use details at different scales in a single sheet by referencing it from the design workspace to sheet workspace. In absence of one, how do I put details at different scale in a single sheet?
I know in roadway side except basemaps all other stuffs like cross-section and profile are drawn in sheet file and they never reference within a single cad file. But we do a lot of referencing from design to sheet workspace in the bridge side.
I'm not sure what you are saying ORD can't do...But I understand bridge detailing.
If you are limited to just sheet models in your design file (I can't imagine why, but I haven't gotten very far with ORD yet) you can always create a separate design model drawing to put your details in, then reference that external file to your sheet. You could even make a DGN with several design models - one for each scale of detail.
But that's a long way around for something that should not be an issue. What seed file are you using? Do you have a seed file set up the weay you want to use it? Are you using the default workspace, a client workspace, or a custom workspace?

Hey Mary, Thanks for replying. I am using Ohio DOT workspace. So, are you suggesting creating a separate design file for a sheet file. I think it would be easy for a small job but when you have more than 30 sheets and multiple people working on it, it would be a pain in the a** to access or make changes.
Since, you have used all the versions of microstations like v8i and powergeopak, you know how comfortable it was to access between two models - design and sheet.
