Hi,
I have been trying to export XS from my model and I seem to run into 2 problems:
1. I cannot figure out how to display the existing surface only per station rather than the full 3D surface model. Inside the red box you can see the template drop.
If I cycle through the cross-sections in the dynamic XS view, it does it as if I was driving along the road.
2. As you can see from the 2nd picture, the corridor doesn't seem to clip the surface mode. (Each of the 3 components are a separate dgn file: alignment, exist. surface & corridor- where I am creating the XS) This makes me think it would also not tie-in correctly.
Thank you for your help.
David.
Check the spacing when you create the xs. It looks like you maybe creating them on top of each other.

Thank you Nico, but the link doesn't apply.
I am sorry, but I failed to mention that I use OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition (2019, Release 2). It is different than OpenRoads SS3.

Nico,
Thank you for that info! To get rid of my issue I had to detach the terrain from the Dynamic Cross-section view and now it displays correctly (simply right-click inside the surface perimeter).
Do you have any idea with regards to the second issue? Why doesn't the corridor model clip the existing surface? (the surface is attached as reference)- you can see the surface "through" the asphalt.
Thank you !
The existing surface is not automatically clipped by the corridor. You need to create a clipped terrain and view that, instead of the existing terrain.
