Hi
Does anyone know if there is a way to refresh or re-associate an active terrain model that you've made changes to? In my case, our initial survey lacked detail and extents in a certain area. I added the additional information to the new terrain model, but the new information does not show in any of my profile models.
The area circled in blue previously fell outside of the surveyed terrain. The updated terrain model does not show in the profile view.
The area circled below shows that the old, lower-quality terrain instead of the updated terrain model. Creating a 3D cut shows what the existing profile should look like (highlighted in light blue)
Is there a way to tell the geometry to "refresh" the active terrain model in the profile view?
Thanks
Hi Warren,
We found this same issue during project delivery and caused some pain. The only way was to deactivate active terrain and make it active again (it was put down as Defect # 1048360).

Thanks Mark! I should have tried that... Glad there's a defect filed, because I'd expect it to be more dynamic than that.
This seems to still be an issue and we have filed another SR for this to be fixed. Using ORD 2021 R2, and our updated terrains are only updating in the profiles if we deactivate/make active the revised terrain. We need the terrains & profiles to be dynamic.
