I would like to insert a text break into the title box annotation for each row of my profile grid. How do I do this without doing it manually after the profile is annotated?
Can you explain what you mean - I think you want to have two (or more) lines of text in the title box but would like to be sure?
Hi Mark, yes that's what I mean. I want to be able to reduce the width of the title box by providing two lines of text. Eg:
"Proposed Elevation
(mAOD)"
It is possible - the way I have found testing this now is not the most elegant solution, but it works.
I have removed the title text (Horizontal Curvature) from the red boxed row, and added two extra lines (yellow boxes) at half the frame width with the upper and lower text. Set the text style to get it how you like. I used Cant as the definition - as I have a road and I know there will never be cant.
Hopefully someone will have a more elegant solution.
I've managed to solve the problem using a max line length (20 characters) text style override in the Element Template. I can't get the profile annotation to resize the title box though. It's set to 50mm in the dgnlib but when the annotation group is applied in another file, the box becomes 65mm wide and I have to manually resize it.
