This way I keep the geometry separate, and can work on that while someone else may work on the corridor. [I put superelevation with geometry as they are linked, in my mind.]

So while there is no 'best' way, the way you are doing it is good.

RE: profiles in DESGNRD or MODLRD files

You are hijacking another user's thread, and their title doesn't apply to their problem. Please start your own discussion thread so that people watching the boards can see that you are having a problem.

In that thread (NOT this one) please tell us at what point in the process things are not working. Are you working with metric units, or imperial units? Are you using the delivered Bentley files, or have they been provided by your organization or your client? Are you creating templates, generating template drops, defining parametric variables, creating point controls, generating a corridor surface?

You will get the best answers in your own thread, describing as much detail about what you have done and what you are trying to do as possible. I have not seen that error message (is it even an error message?) and without more information I have no idea what it could refer to.

Please start a new thread so that others can see your problems and possibly help.

RE: profiles in DESGNRD or MODLRD files

please help

RE: profiles in DESGNRD or MODLRD files

its the roadway designer tool..am having problem with the corridor

RE: profiles in DESGNRD or MODLRD files

please help

RE: profiles in DESGNRD or MODLRD files

its inroads series 2 during corridor creation it says
SAYS IMPERIAL UNITS USED WHILE CREATING THIS LIBRARY

RE: profiles in DESGNRD or MODLRD files

Please start a new thread with your question.
