Ok I'm not sure how to ask this but here goes. I would like to use the station/offset feature in Civil Accudraw to place a point. The only way I can find to enter a station into Civil Accudraw is to manually key it in. What I would like to do is to graphically select a location on an alignment and have that station returned exactly to Civil Accudraw . I know I can draw a line at a certain distance perpendicular to the alignment and then snap to the end of the line to store the point and then delete the line. But is there a way with Civil Accudraw to accomplish this without having to round the station.
With civil accudraw>station offset/mode activated try moving your mouse along the alignment then hitting the enter button to lock in the precise station, then you can key in your offset. It should look something like this.
