If you are using the OpenRoads tools, use the CAD menu (File > New) to create a 2D file - select a 2D seed file, not one of the MX seed files. Ensure that the working units are metres - just to be sure. (You would only pick a 3D seed file if you were creating a terrain.)

Purva, please guide me about the selection of seed files for Default design,default sheet & DPF sheet so that I can use the openroads tools for designing Indian road projects. I selected mx_seed_m_3d+2d.dgn for default design model seed and when I created new .dgn with seed 3d (for the purpose of terrain creation using openroads tools),the error window appeared.

To get MX Configuration window, you will have to set MX menu, View > Configuration > File Management.

Hello Vaibhav,

As you are using MXRoad, you will have to set 3 seed files as shown in the attached snapshot from File Management toolbox.

Path of my system : C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MX V8i (SELECTseries 4)\WorkSpace\System\seed
