Def error, what is this error?

Can you please elaborate as to when you are getting this error message, please send a brief of the workflow. What is the software & the version number? Does this happen on all the projects or this project in particular?
Seems to be I can't reference a .shp file
Did you ever figure out how to upload a .shp file? I need to reference one into OpenRoads Connect.

assign the correct geodetic coordinate system to your file, then use the reference command to attach the .shp file to your dgn
rogerb I do have a coordinate assigned to the file, I then try to reference the .shp and get the error.
