Point cloud and terrain tools will no longer accept non-standard text file extensions

Hi.

After moving from InRoads to OpenRoads (PowerCivil and OpenRoads Designer) we are no longer allowed to import text files (e.g. terrain ASCII) with a non-standard file extension. We are receiving ASCII terrain files from several different suppliers and a variety of software. Earlier we could import the text files regardless of the file extension. Now it seems that only extensions listed in the file type dropdown is accepted, even when choosing "all files". There is nothing special with the formatting of the text in itself, only the extension. We also have the same issue in the Point Cloud tool, but I think that this has been like that since the start.

Some examples of the extensions we have are *.fre, *.pts and *.ter. We would prefer not having to rename all the files we receive.

Is there any way to allow all extensions to be imported in OpenRoads and Point Clouds or is this maybe a function that could be enabled in a later release of OpenRoads Designer?
