Annotate Station on a alignment in the 3d model?

Question

Hi, 
 Does someone know if ORD can create annotation for stationing in the 3d model for an alignment and by which annotation group?

Hi Signe, 
 
 I have just found in 2020 R1 that if you reference your 2D model of the Geometry into it's 3D model and annotate the Alignment (in the 3D model), all alignment annotation will be created with the correct 3D alignment elevations. This may work in earlier releases but i've never checked. 
 
 Probably not by design, but hopefully it keeps functioning this way in future releases as we've been using it a lot recently. The good thing is that it doesnt annotate based on the 3d alignment "chainages" but is still annotating the 2D Geometry and just using the elevations of the 3d.

Hi Signe 
 The 'centreline' in the 3D model is not a proper 2D alignment, but a 3D entity - so it does not have stationing. My 3D 'centreline' is 0.345m longer than the horizontal geometry - so station values are not equal. 
 Off the top of my head, I would have to say it is not possible, but I will have a think (hopefully someone will have a solution in the meantime).
