Hello, Sorry if this has already been addressed but if so, I cannot find an exact solution to my problem. I am trying to add cross-sections to the sheet index but am 1) not seeing the sheets being added under my drop down shown in the screenshot and 2) don't have all the icons shown in a lot of the tutorials. Any help would be appreciated.

Is your sheet index read only? For the missing icons I would try right clicking in a the dialogue box and selecting "show all"

I am not given all of those options when I right-click. I also do not have the icon with the pencil to make the sheet editable. Would you suggest anything in this situation?
Have you tested this application in another workspace? Do any other users besides yourself have this problem in this workspace?
We recently installed OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition 2019 Release 2. I opened the cross-section training in the provided workspace but obviously using ORD 2019 R2 and all the icons for editing in the sheet index were there. This led me to believe that something is missing from either our workspace or workset that is prohibiting all the icons in the sheet index to be displayed. This is just a theory though. When other colleagues try to utilize sheet indexing they do not have the icons either.
If you are dealing with a custom workspace, it is not unheard of for standard tools or tasks to be accidentally "written out" by the customization. If the delivered workspace shows all of the tools, and your custom workspace is missing tools, then there is definitely a conflict in the customized workspace. I'd suspect that it isn't anything "missing" from the software as much as some custom bit overriding a default tool somewhere.
The issue of missing tools or tasks in custom workspaces has been around a while. You may find something helpful with a board search, although I don't know how much of what you find would be applicable to CONNECT/OpenRoads.

Thank you for the input. That is along the lines of what I was thinking. Do you have any suggestions as to where this could have been "written out"? Are you suggesting one of the configuration files or a seed file?

"The task menu comes from DGNLIB files. It is possible to edit configurations in a manner that will disable certain DGNLIB files, removing the specific Tasks. But on the main menu is MicroStation is the Tools menu and under it is Tasks. If not on, the task menus do not display. So if you are missing the Tasks menu, that may be all you need to do.
If you have Tasks but no Civil Tools, you may need to fig the DGNLIB variables."

I found out that there were a few lines missing from Personal.explorer-settings.xml compared to the Imperial.explorer-settings.xml used for training. After I added the missing lines the icons that were missing for Sheet Index appeared but they were greyed out, including the "Open Sheet Index for Edit" icon. Do you have any idea as to why/how this happened and how to enable the Edit icon since it appears now?
