Hello everyone. I am learning to use ORD (specifically, OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition version 10.07.03.18), and I am experiencing an issue with scaling when referencing in a file.
I am attempting to reference in a file which includes contour lines. When I reference it in, the contour labels DO NOT scale according to the drawing scale of the file into which it is referenced. All other references scale correctly (including other annotation text in the file with the contour labels). If I open the file with the contour labels in it and adjust the drawing scale there, the contour labels DO change according to the drawing scale.
The issue I am having appears to be the same as the issue experienced by this individual (to which no solution was provided):

If anyone could help me with this, I would appreciate it!
Just in case anyone else comes here looking for the answer to this problem, the original poster was likely encountering an issue where the file the terrain model reference and the file it was referenced into did not share the same resolution units. Overriding the symbology will address this issue in the short term, but if resolution units are not kept the same throughout the shared project files, other errors will like present themselves later.
In the case you mention, it would possibly introduce more issues graphically to the mix than the mentioned label scaling. I can see this being possible in some cases. Proper seed files and understanding of geographic coordinate systems are crucial to dealing with referenced files. Typically, when either of those are off, there's a fairly noticeable discrepancy in graphics displayed depending on original imported data and units of resolution. Information should always be verified.
