Good Morning,
As a result of some file restoration, it appears that my Superelevation Section has lost its association with the horizontal geometry from which it was created. This appears to be preventing it from applying to the corridor properly. Is there a tool similar to the "Reattach Corridor" Tool to restore the Superelevation Section association from its horizontal alignment?
Thanks in advance as always!
Hi Robert, I'm not aware of such a capability with ORD, do you want to file an enhancement request?
That would be great! Its not the end of the world to have to recreate the superelevation section, especially we use CSVs generated from Excel spreadsheets that went through our QC process, but such a tool would definitely save time in this scenario, and shouldn't be hard to implement since Reattach Corridor pretty much functions the exact same way.
I filed the Enhancement 1074730:reattach superelevation to a different alignment

Thanks Marc! I will update my tracker.
It would be nice to have a support tool that would allow the reassignment/reattachment/reruled of any smart element from one smart element to a different smart element. So that a smart element that is a referenced as a rule, that may have been corrupt or otherwise made unusable but is still selectable, can be replaced globally with in a DGN with a different smart element.
