under the survey data import, the file type only shows .txt files where the the other import types go. I believe it is a variable that was replaced as I opened up inroads survey and the other types were visibile the first time and then when I went to load another file all of the types disappeared with the exception of .txt????
Just to make sure I understand your problem, are you saying that whenever you go to import survey data the "Files of Type" drop down list in the "Import" dialog box only shows "Text File" as an option thus making it possible to open only text files?
