Is it possible to simply create a piece of horizontal geometry and run a report on it to determine the centerline coordinate points by stationing? All I can get is the start, PC, PT, end, etc...I'd like to see all the stations.
When doing the horizontal report, turn on the 'Interval' checkbox - I used a value of 10m. The default report will only show you the PC etc. points. In the Report Browser, select the 'CivilGeometry/HorizontalAlignmentIntervalXYZ.xsl' report to get this output.
Thank you Mark. As a follow-up, what is the simplest way to export these points into an ASCII file for surveying?
For me, the easiest way is to copy the information (right mouse click - Select All - Copy) and then just paste it into a text file. You will have a little tidying up to do, but nothing significant. (If you were only looking for XYZ values, you could amend the XSL to reformat the data.)
The other option is to use File > Save As and save it as (say) an Excel spreadsheet, and then save that *** CSV.
