Has anyone else had this issue before? My corridor behaves like it is supposed to in this super elevated transition area but the yellow line on the right side is the top surface that Openroads generates. Also when I export to a TIN file it is doing the same thing, ignoring the gutter line thru this area.
When I export a TIN file for our subs this will give them incorrect elevations.
Thank you
Apparently there is going to be a new feature in 2020R1 to create terrains from corridors without having to switch to a Top Mesh feature definition. Fingers crossed it'll make this easier.
I think what is happening is that the bottom point of your top-most component is being added to the terrain model instead of the top point. This especially happens when your edge conditions are added as linear templates instead of part of the template.
What you can try in the meantime is to edit some of the points in your template to create an Alternate Surface. Only select the final road level points and give them all the same Alternate Surface name:
Then use the Create Corridor Alternate Surfaces tool:
Thanks for the information I will try this and let you know.
