I have a created an existing drainage subsurface utility drawing, and in it I have boxes and pipes showing the existing storm drain drainage. I have also created a subsurface drawing with the proposed or new storm drain drainage in. I need to connect the new drain to the existing. How do I do this? Can I connect nodes from two different files?
I do not believe you can connect networks from separate drawings. You will probably need to create a "dummy" node in the upstream drawing at the location it connects to the other. This will allow you to have the pipe connection. In the downstream drawing, you will need to add the flow from the upstream at the dummy node to the system if you need to run analysis.
