We switched over to PowerGeopak SS10 (version 08.11.09.918) about 4 months ago. We started noticing that when we generate cross sections in SS10 our 3D feature line cells only showed up on level default, whereas in SS4 they would match the level assigned to them in the Element Templates. See examples below:
SS10 Centerline Feature Cell:
SS4 Centerline Feature Cell:
This is true for all the 3D feature cells that we use (ROW, wetlands, utilities, etc.)
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem and/or have any ideas as to what could be differing between SS4 to SS10 like configuration variables or settings?
Please let me know and thanks!
We are having the same issue after switching over to SS10 from SS4.
Under Corridor Modeling, when using the Create Cross Sections task, the XS Cells come in on the correct level and color as do any 3D Cells already in drawings. Cells that are defined in Project Explorer Civil Standards do not follow the Element Template Properties. It does grab the correct cell; however, it is on the default level instead of the levels defined in the Element Template Library. For example, the Exisitng Right-of-Way has an element template defined in the Civil Standards to grab a ROW-EX cell and place it on the ROW-EX level with all settings ByLevel. The cell is shown but on the default level, color 0, linestyle 0 and lineweight 0.
We are having the same issue also. We switched to SS10 from SS4. Now our cross section cells are placed on the default level.
We are having the same issue as well. The issue is making us spend more time on our projects than needed.
We are having the same issue too. The cross section features are displayed on the default level instead of the one set in the element template.
