Is there a tool in ORD which will strip all of the Civil Data out of the file similar to what was available in SS4? See below link for reference:
SS3/SS4 to ORD Migration
Definitely needed! Now that we have Civil Standards sync, I also think we need a Civil Compress to clean out any unused junk Civil data.

Hi John,
This seems to be the ORD version of the Civil Clean keyins, but i'd be curious to see what the Bentley team says about it first:
Keyins to remove ORD Civil attributes/schema from file:
mdl load Bentley.CifNET.Model.Tools.4.0.dll
CIVIL CLEAN
I had seen this but not tested it as the CifNET part threw me off--thanks for looking into it. After testing it myself, this looks like it's nearly what I'm looking for--it will strip out rules from civil elements and convert them to regular complex as well as remove features and associated standards. What it does not do, however, is remove whatever application data is embedded in the file which marks it as having newer Civil Data and therefore uneditable using an earlier Civil Product.
It seems that the only way to accomplish the last step of backward compatibility is to merge the linework into an older seed file in the earlier version.

Whenever I need to do this, I just use the Fence File command (Keyin FF=), which creates a new file with linework stripped of civil data for everything within the fence. Works for 2D and 3D. Only thing you have to do is reapply a Coordinate System if you have one applied in the original file. Use it all the time to get stuff into SS2 or SS4 from CONNECT for whatever reason.
Mark, I submitted an SR for this at the beginning of last year and it was logged as Enhancement Request 988933. Even though we now have the ability to sync Feature Definitions and the like, it would still be nice to be able to Compress Civil Data inside of ORD CONNECT to keep things tidy.
