PDF I am trying to migrate a firm from V8i to OpenSite Connect 10. Documentation says I should be able to use existing .xin or .smd files for importing points. I have found an example of where these are set in OpenRoads. Does anyone know the correct location to designate a .xin or .smd in OpenSite?
You just found a red herring. The help is out of date. There are tools to help migrate settings on a Wiki page.

Fred:
Chuck is indeed correct. OpenSite Connect does not use an XIN file (or a SMD). That information is now included within various *.dgnlib's.
Here is the learning path for these Connect editions of software (the learning path is for OpenRoads Designer, but most of the concepts are the same).
