Title says it all.
Not to me - do you mean you want to annotate the sheets, and then disable automatic update of the annotation? Or you just do not want any annotation?

We need to be able to let the software annotate the first time, turn that function off, make corrections (text overlaps, items off page etc) without having to constantly fight the "auto-annotator" with regard to said corrections.

Since this hasn't been answered, I'm guessing the answer is no. Can Bentley add this to a future version of ORD? Having the text update automatically is a nice feature when you are laying out the alignment, but once you have the sheets created it becomes a nuisance.
The best solution would be for the text to update with design changes but stay in it's current location. Having the text jump back to it's "anchor point' is what causes the problem on our end.
