Title says it all.
I haven't tested it yet, but this appears to be addressed in 2021, R1 (ORD 10.10). What's New states, "Improved annotation performance by stopping annotation from updating when the underlying geometry had not changed".
Hmm.. I guess it is because I am working with OpenBuildings Designer CONNECT Upd 7 10.07.00.105. The thread has started with OpenRoads.
I assumed though that this was similar for both programs...
Where did you find these variables? I have full access to my configuration variables, and I do not see these directly...

I had the same problem. Then I found these two variables that I set as shown below:
BB_AUTOANNOTATION_ONCREATE = 0BB_AUTOANNOTATION = MANUAL
Then it stopped

From what I can tell, one cannot turn off an annotation in ORD; such can only be deleted as to not appear. Your comments as regards C3D are valuable. I only hope that the Bentley coders are paying attention to this thread/ subject matter. The program designs nicely, but the lack of attention to real-world production issues as regards client demands is startling to me.
