Hello,
I've got some OpenRoads geometry that's been imported into OR SS4 from a GPK file. It displays in the 2d model, If I select and open the profile window, that looks good too.Of the 6 alignments, 4 will display in 3d-model when I set their profile active, the other 2 will not. I've looked at the basic stuff - all levels on,construction class turned on, I don't see any obvious difference between the alignments that work and those that don't. I also tried importing into ORD and got the same results. Is there anything else to check? I'm using the Bentley-Civil-Imperial workspace. DGN file attached.
Thanks,
Tom F

The profiles that do not display in 3d list as bsplines? Not sure how this profile was created, but, where would bsplines come from?
Tom, can you share geometry file, which you tried to import?

Kiran,
Thanks for looking at this. Ultimately, I'm trying to get the GPK geometry into ConceptStation, no GPK support in CS, so I tried IR SS4 and ORD 10.08.00.88. Under the Home tab, I select import geometry, select the GPK, If I import everything this is what I get. Civil rules being checked or unchecked does not make a difference. Here's what I see after import, 2d on the right 3d model on the left. I get points in the 3d model. nothing else. It works for you, so what setting am I missing? Thx, Tom F.
The alignment Horizontal Stationing is from 0+00 to 57+57+73.24
The Profile Stationing is from 1000+00.01 to 1048+60.00
It can't display the profile as it starts almost 100000 feet after the end of the horizontal stationing.

Hello Tom, GPK geometry doesn't have a Profile (Vertical Alignment). To display alignment in 3D view, the alignment should have active profile. Create a Profile alignment, activate it then open 3D view. The active profile alignment should display in the 3D view.
Please find an attached file(video clip) for your easy reference, which demonstrates same.
That was it. Thanks Chuck
Thanks Kiran
