You can only use the files created in the latest version as 'Read only' in older versions. This is working as designed.

EDIT: I realize this sounds rather blunt, but I am simply stating the fact. I understand all the issues being raised, but as I am not involved in any way with the development of ORD, I can only say that they should be raised as Service Tickets etc.

I understand that your are not involved in development, but you do work for Bentley. As MaryB and caddcop have eluded to, this is a significant issue, that does need to be addressed. So, as you suggest, I will raise this issue as a service request and will encourage any one else to do so if that is the needed path to get this addressed. Second, I pose this question: Who is it at Bentley that I should contact to find answers to this question?
