How do I modify the elevation of a line or complex chain? In the properties the data is grayed and I cant change the value. I have a line with a 0 elevation and need to adjust.
Thanks
Simplest way is to open a Profile Model for the element and then define a profile there, Set Active, and it will show up in your 3D View. If you have a constant elevation you'd like for the element in question, create a simple line profile that has a 0.00% slope at the desired elevation.

Simple, maybe. Intuitive? I wouldn't have considered that...

It's the ORD way. After spending a year and a half in Ss4 doing Site Design, I can't imaging any other way.
Well, that's not really true, but it is the first thought that comes to mind. And this is coming from one of the masters of the Edit Feature Point tool in InRoads Surface editing tools!
That was my go to tool for modifying and tweaking a DTM!
