Adding the MS_MEMORY_FREELIMIT to the config file worked for about a couple of days. However I begun to experience the crashes

again at least twice a day. It would appear the only logical step would be to go to 64-bit Microstation but since one of my clients is a DOT they will have to make that call. Unless you know of something else to try.

Thanks for the help

RE: “Exception of Type ‘System.outofMemoryException’ was thrown

Hi Mike,

Try checking out the link below, and see if it pertains to you.

https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/f/geopak-inroads-mx-openroads-forum/125210/openroads-out-of-memory-crashes

If it does, you should be able to add a config variable named MS_MEMORY_FREELIMIT, and then you can set a physical and virtual limit, respectively. You can use the following as an example: 100,999. You might need to close out of the program and reopen it for the changes to take affect, but hopefully this helps!

Regards,

Jacob
