Folks:
Is it possible for ORD (we are on ORD 2020 R1) to understand even intervals for elevations rather than just elevation limits based upon the placement of the template? In SS2 we could do such (intervals where the cross section boundary elevations would look at the placement of the template and perform exact even intervals). In ORD, the software will annotate elevation limits, but one may have certain areas above and below these limits. See attached images for clarification.

Another issue that we are having here is in the representation of our existing ground line (the line is represented by system linestyle 3, so scaling and run-through issues should be of no consequence). In ORD, this line appears to be a bit "muddy" and prints in this manner as well. In SS2, the line is crisp and acts "properly". I am not sure why this issue is occuring, but if any of you good folks can provide an answer we will certainly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Mark
Mark, there is an Enhancement Request logged to have the elevation limits to round to the major grid interval (928053), filed by others. We logged an additional Enhancement Request (1075738) that was similar because we wanted to match our client's CADD standards and was linked to the original ER. In the mean time, we aren't making a grid for the entire sheet, we are just having a grid within each XS and white space on each sheet between XS since we can't align to a grid for the entire sheet. We've presented the issue to both the client and the ORD Team. Everyone seems okay with the solution for the time being. Before and After enclosed. I'll try to follow up with the threads where we've discussed this previously, but I'll have to look through my emails for those because I don't think I have them bookmarked.

Thank you so much for addressing this issue. We have always used "white space" for our primary client, so it is interesting to me that you found your answer- partially- in doing the same. I was unaware of the ER, so I appreciate you letting me know about that as well!
Best Regards,
I will never understand why there ISN'T a way to get an even grid interval. I suspect that the folks doing the development have never had to produce a plan set...I'm glad there is an enhancement filed.
